Alex currently tattoos at Electric Uprising Tattoo studio in Squamish, BC. The address is 40437 Tantalus Road, unit #15 within the Spectacle building (ground floor centre hallway). There is parking around the backside of the building. Please note, this is a by appointment only studio.

What is your hourly rate?

-
What about deposits?
When you leave a deposit, your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo, or on the final sitting for a multi sitting project. These are the guidelines for a deposit:
if you choose not to get tattooed, your deposit pays for the time spent drawing for you.
if you do not show up for a scheduled appointment, cancel within 1 week, or cancel more than one appointment you forfeit your deposit.
Please note that if your deposit has gone towards to one of the previously mentioned examples, usually I will ask for another deposit to continue your project.

What's the best way to prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Getting a good nights sleep is a big one.
Avoid drinking alcohol, eat a complete and healthy breakfast and be sure to bring some snack food.
Wear comfortable clothing that is suited to the area that you are getting tattooed.
Prepare the skin to be tattooed by exfoliating and shaving the area and try to avoid having a deep sun tan or sun burn.
Bringing music or a movie can be helpful, along with keeping the remainder of your day open.

Commission a piece of art or mural
The best way to approach this is to send me an email, with your ideas, the space, and your contact information. From there we can start a dialogue on bringing your idea to life and creating a unique piece of art.

I want a tattoo, but I'm not sure what to get?
If you are unsure of what direction you would like to take, getting a tattoo, I recommend booking a consult. The consult is free, and is a great way of sharing your ideas and finding a fresh artistic direction. At the consult, we can look into the styles you like, your concept, and the motivations behind it to bring it all together into a unique piece of art.

When do I get to see my artwork?
Your artwork will be emailed to you the night before the tattoo for your review.
